Objective

To design, develop, and program using HTML, CGI (Perl and C), and JAVA, affordable clear easy to use web sites for individuals and small businesses utilizing my present abilities and experience. To help provide an opportunity to communicate their message to a wide audience in today's ever changing technological environment.

Employment

JSweb Technology

Providing analysis, web design and hosting for individuals, organizations and small businesses. I perform HTML and CGI coding, image scanning, and limited graphics work for web sites. I also provide technical support for our web hosting only customers.

APWU Health Plan
System/Analyst - Supervisor

I provided analysis, design, and programming for a multitude of projects and systems whose variety ranged from the main online claims processing systems to the development of a subrogation subsystem and claims workflow systems. In addition, I directly supervised personnel in both management staff and bargaining unit positions. Prior to the system/analyst position, I was a senior programmer analyst. As such, I developed a system to take tape/cartridge and paper claims and process them automatically without manual intervention. In addition, I integrated the AUTO AUDIT (HEALTH CHEX) system into the claims processing system. This allowed fraudulent or suspicious claims to be discovered much faster and reliably. I also was instrumental in developing the ESC (Electronic Submission of Claims) System. My programs accounted for more than one million claims processed in the first year alone. This system allowed APWU to become the first FEHBA insurance plan to electronically accept crossover claims from all Medicare Intermediaries.

SCM. Chemicals - Hanson Industries
Programmer analyst

My work included new program development and maintenance of existing programs for a variety of industrial applications. These included Sales, Product Inventory, and Accounting. In particular, I was responsible for the entire batch order-processing system, including being "on-call" 24 hours per day to handle any emergencies. In addition, I evaluated job scheduling packages for the AS400 system and wrote conversion programs so that existing application systems would conform to the new hardware.
